My new collection Tipping Point is to be published shortly by Night River Wood. It includes prizewinning poems alongside new work.
“Tipping Point is a collection of poems that explores the fragile balance between the human world and the natural world. It journeys through the Arctic, weaving together its landscapes, wildlife, and human stories. From ancient myth to the precarious realities of survival, these poems reveal both the luminous beauty of the far north and the fragility of a world facing profound change. With clarity and lyrical power, the collection invites readers to reflect on what is at risk — and what might still be saved.“
“A sense of magically bent and distorted time, so that the poems seem to be strung between eternity and immediacy… a wonderful diaphanous haunting is everywhere, a book full of whispered voices.”

Elmley Nature Reserve

This summer, I was commissioned to write poems for visitor booklets for Elmley Nature Reserve on the Isle of Sheppey. I had an amazing time there immersing myself in the landscapes, photographing the hares and the birds of the grasslands and reedbeds. I also visited the curlew chicks that are part of the rescue program at the reserve. A magical place!
